Phase Separation
The production separator is usually three phase horizontal separator used in oilfield crude oil processing as the main equipment to separate well effluent into three phases (oil, gas and water).
Using principles of gravitation, momentum and coalescing, the production separator is effectively separate bulk water and free gases from the crude oil in oilfield. In large oilfield processing facilities, production separators are used in high-, mid- and low-pressure stages, called staged-separation. The separator package or separator skid consists of pressure vessel with internals in it, level control valve and instruments, flow control valves, temperature & pressure instrumentations, alarm and safety devices, and signal and electrical devices.
Separator internals (packings) are the important elements of the production separators, which are installed inside of the separator vessel and designed based on the process requirements. There are many types of the separators internals, such as inlet diverter, sand removal system, wave breakers, defoaming plates, mist extractor, vortex breaker and others. REIN designs and produces high-quality packings for the separators and other process equipment in order to ensure adequate performance on the separation process.

Heat Treatment
The heater treater is a special equipment used in oilfield crude oil processing as the heating and separation equipment. The heater treaters are designed either as vertical or horizontal pressure vessels, depending on the composition of well steam, which requires different residence time.
The heater treater is the effective solution for bulk separation and increasing the efficiency of the secondary separation equipment because it breaks oil-water emulsion and conduction first-stage separation. The heater treaters have a great advantage of conventional phase separator in separation of heavier crudes by applying heat. However, maintenance of the heater treater is much expensive because of fuel for heating and requires more safety measures then convention separators because of its burner.

Transfer Pumps
Transfer pumps are the important units of the oil & gas facility, which are designed and manufactured to deliver hydrocarbons, chemical and other substances to the next processing equipment, storage, unloading and loading facilities.
Transfer pumps usually are supplied in the skid, which consist of two pumps (one – operating, second – standby), ex-proof motor, control panel and piping.
The pump skid is an assembly of pump, motor, piping, valve, instrumentation and electric devices, used in oilfield processing facilities, gas processing plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, and other industrial facilities.
There several types of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, which are selected by operators considering both advantages and disadvantages of pump types. Among widely pump standards are API 610, ISO 5199, API 676, API 675, ISO 2858.
