Rein Wellhead Equipment starts providing comprehensive system for Emergency Shutdown (ESD). As shown in the flow chart below, Safety Valves that are in the Surface Safety Tree (Flowhead) and flow line, immediately shutting down the flow in case of high-temperature or high-pressure are detected. Safety Valves or Surface Safety Valves (SSV) are connected to the ESD station by hydraulic hoses. ESD station is equipped with force fluid tank and pump, which delivers force to the valve’s actuator to shutdown the flow in a very short period.
Flowhead
The surface test tree is controlled and operated by master valves or wing valves, which can be manually or hydraulically operated. The swivel is a pressure balanced sub that allows unrestricted rotation of the upper/lower half towards each other. Hydraulically actuated flow valve is controlled from ESD panel to ensure fast shut-down response time.
Surface Safety Valve
The surface safety valve, in short SSV, is the second item of well test system, exposed to well effluent and serves as an important equipment of ESD system. SSV is an additional safety equipment, which consists of hydraulically or pneumatically actuated gate valve with reverse acting bonnet assembly, connections and skid.
ESD Panel
ESD panel includes liquid tank, pump, gauges, regulators, pushbutton, Stainless-steel skid and other accessories.
